Grateful Dog is a Sacramento-based dog daycare offering dog owners the best in dog daycare, cage-free boarding, and complete grooming services. The goal of the project was to create a logo that was fun, friendly and warm. University of California Davis
J.D. WHEAT VETERINARY ORTHOPEDIC RESEARCH LABORATORY conducts animal and human research dedicated to injury prevention and enhanced diagnostics for faster rehabilitation, healthier training and improved repair methods. In collaboration with the California Horse Racing Board the mission was to reduce the incidences of debilitating and fatal injuries at California racetracks and training facilities through research and training. eLearning modules were developed, from evidenced-based research, to educate and train veterinarians and horse trainers on early detection of injury, pre-existing conditions that contribute to catastrophic injury and methods for rehabilitation of equine athletes. As a companion piece to the eLearning modules; technical notes highlight information for quick reference while in the field. The booklet celebrates the 40th anniversary of its relationship with the University of the Pacific and showcases the design for the new law library. —Design and production -
Poolscapes
Poolscapes is an award-winning, high-end pool design company in El Dorado Hills. The purpose of the brochure was to showcase their pool/landscape designs and promote the fact that in addition to design, they provide a full-time construction supervisor and scheduler to each project. Together, the team manages the project more efficiently and effectively adding a greater degree of quality control. —Brochure design, production and copy writing -
Tommys Beach Bar and Grill
Tommy’s is a Manteca-based bar and grill featuring Angus beef burgers and a Hawaiian style décor. The goal was to design a logo and accompanying elements to complete the experience of stepping into a surf-trendy beach setting leaving the suburban city life behind. —Logo, business system, menu and rack card design -
University of California Davis
School of Veterinary Medicine To showcase the distinguished veterinary school’s respected history, the exhibit commemorates the founding of the school and through a decade-by-decade mural design, recognizes past graduating classes. A timeline structure marks milestones in veterinary medicine while a ribbon of photos depicts notable events as a cultural context and backdrop. The 5’ x 7’ multi-level panels function as part archive, commemoration and art to complement the progressive and newly constructed Gladys Valley Hall, the first LEED certified building within a multi-building Veterinary Medicine build-out.
